Remember Hiroshima: August 6th, 1945

I almost didn’t.

On this day in 1945, 45,000 people died in the single bomb explosion at Hiroshima with 19,000 more dying over the next 4 month. At Nagasaki, just three days later on August 9th, 22,000 people died on that day with 17.000 more deaths over the next 4 months.

My point as well. I just thought it was a shame that at 11:00 pm last night I remembered the significance of the date. I heard nothing on the news, TV or in the papers.

I did see it mentioned in the Daily News Digest on the “God’s Politics” website.
